The New Hampshire State Society welcomes New Hampshire
residents and former residents from all backgrounds, occupations
and affiliations. Current members include:
Alumni of New Hampshire universities and colleges
Military personnel
Employees/Members of New Hampshire businesses/organizations
with a presence in Washington, DC
New Hampshire Congressional Delegation staff
New Hampshire students in Washington, DC schools
Others with an affiliation to the Granite State
Over the longer-term, the Society plans to expand its
membership activities. These activities will include:
The development of an NHSS newsletter for its membership
to describe past and future events, Society news
and membership information.
The establishment of a Mentoring Network to allow veteran
DC residents and professionals to make themselves
available to DC newcomers to provide encouragement and guidance.
The coordination of a Job, Resume and Housing Banks to
assist newcomers to Washington, DC and also veteran
residents and professionals during times of transition, to secure employment
and
housing in and around the Nation's Capital.
