The New Hampshire State Society of Washington, D.C. serves as a focal point of activity and connectivity for persons with New Hampshire backgrounds in the Washington D.C. Metro area. New Hampshire residents and former residents, New Hampshire school alumni, and any persons with a special affinity for the Granite State are welcome as members.

The NHSS is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation, and serves two principle educational missions: (1) to serve as a meaningful educational forum for its members, and (2) to manage an "Educational Opportunity Fund" that provides stipends for students from NH that have obtained internships in the DC area.
