WASHINGTON -
The New Hampshire State Society is looking for the state’s
next Cherry Blossom Princess. The 93nd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival
will take place from April 3rd -9th in Washington, DC.. Each year,
young women from around the country represent their states and
territories through a week of education, leadership, and cultural
activities including a Congressional reception, a grand ball, and
visits to foreign embassies. The week-long festival culminates
in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, on of Washington’s
largest and most popular spectator events. One princess will be
chosen by a spin of the wheel to become the Cherry Blossom Queen,
representing the United States in Japan later this spring.
“
I was thrilled to represent New Hampshire,” said 2003

Festival was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet outstanding
young women from around the country and share a week of unique
experiences in Washington.”
